Hey guys, my first post. I'll cover the highlights of the last couple weeks.
Finally got Willie shoved off to Washington State University as a freshman in.....Who Knows? He left 2 weeks ago, and the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday got his Orientation, signed up for classes and took some placement tests. This last weekend, his Uncle Chris (Chris Berger) went down (up?) and finished helping him get setup with the final touches for home sweet home, such as a Bicycle, a new printer, and the all important refrigerator for those important beverages.
We have also been preparing for Kathie (His wife, and Debbie's sister) and Chris to come up here and deal with the issue of all the items that have been in storage since the house Debbie and I used to own was sold. We need to determine what else still belongs to the kids, and what can be sold in a garage sale to benefit Debbie and the Boys. They will be here September 4th.
Josef started school the Wednesday after Willie left, so now has a full week and a half of school under his belt as a Sophomore. We are hoping for some improved results after his globe-trotting event to the U.K. this summer.
Granny is plugging along, having some health issues, but hoping to work things out. Leland is preparing for "The Hunt", i.e., getting a Moose. Christine and Trystan continue to try and get things in their lives under control. Next Entry : The Alaska State Fair!!
